I began flying when I was 18 and have logged over 26,000 hours.  I attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and graduated in 1977 with a BS Degree in Aeronautical Science.  After graduation I taught at Embry-Riddle and Hangar One in Birmingham, Alabama.

In 1979, I went to work for the Flight Department of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  While there

I flew the Rockwell Sabreliner Model 40 & 65, Gulfstream G-IIB & G-III, and the McDonnell Douglas DC-9.

I was hired by Piedmont Airlines in 1986 and was based in Baltimore, Maryland flying the Boeing B-737-200.  When Piedmont Airlines and US Air merged in 1990, I transferred to the Boeing B-737-300/400 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I then flew the

Boeing B-757 and B-767 on the companies European routes before checking out as captain on the Boeing B-737-300/400.

I flew the Airbus A-319/320/321 for twelve years and currently fly the Airbus A-330 out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I am a staff photographer for Airways Magazine and a regular contributor to World Airshow News Magazine and Warbirds News.
